“I was thrilled to begin working with Josh as I prepared to compete for the title of Miss USA as Miss KY USA 2009. I had dreamed of competing in this pageant since I was old enough to watch it on TV, so of course I wanted to give it my all. Josh went above and beyond the duty of a trainer by not just showing me specific work-outs, but he also taught me the nutrition and science behind what I was needing to do. This was what I needed since I’m much more motivated when I know “why” I should eat specific foods or do certain moves and not just “what” I should be doing. I never once have to count calories or eat boring foods with the numerous meal ideas Josh provides. Because of Josh, my interest and enjoyment in nutrition grew and my “health nut” personality was initiated! It lead me to turn my Miss KY blog into a modeling & recipe blog where I post healthy versions of recipes that are typically unhealthy-disasters. I know without Josh’s expertise, I wouldn’t have been offered a contract with the agencies FORD Models and Wilhelmina (whose agents asked about my workout regime so that they could guide other girls in the right direction!!!). By continuing to follow Josh’s exercises, nutrition outlines, and by still using his workout video as I travel, I’m able to meet the standards this industry expects in a healthy manner. Thanks Josh for not just your expertise, but your friendship as well!”
